Looking for a 7 to 8 foot cheapy rod to use less than a handfull of times per year. Going to be using it mostly in deep 80 - 250 foot waters, bottom fishing off big boats with up to about 24 ounces of lead. Looking to spend up to $100 if its a great rod for the money, otherwise id like to keep it in the $50 - $75 range.

Any Recomondations?

7ft Penn slammer 20-50. Have used them codfishing in over 300 feet of water with 20oz. They get the job done.

Very cheap- but use it for a bait stick when using heavy weights.
