Hello people

Changing treble hooks to single hooks on my lures need help on which hooks are good for this. Don't want to kill every fish I hook. Any help will be appreciated.

Replacement hooks

If it came with a single treble (like some diamond jigs or tins),I prefer to
replace it with a Mustad 9510x3s Siwash
hook (3/0 to 6/0), depending on lure size. If it came with multiple hooks, such as a plug, I'll replace the tail hook with a Siwash. If the plug has 2 sets of trebles on the belly, I would remove the middle one and maybe upsize the front treble one size. I like the Siwash because of it's longer point and because it's 3x strong and not likely to
staigten or break. Another option is the
Mustad 34007 or the Eagle Claw 254SS
O'Shaughnessy style hooks.
