I just got the town of oyster bay night fishing permit and it says that I can fish at centre island. Does anybody know anything about fishing the there. What kinds of fish, what to use, etc.

depending on where your fishing you can do well with just about anything if you fish the sound side theres blues, bass, weaks and even the occaisional fluke. on the bay side you can do the same with the porgys in the mix. a friend of mine has been doing well with the bass on the bay side. as for what to use, just about anything will work as well. if you looking for artificials ive done well with kastmasters or other spoons as well as topwater pluggs. on the bait side bunker chunks, squid, spearing, wormsa and just about anything else. all in all its a pretty good place to fish. good luck
