Just to let you all know the permit for caumsett is now available.
They became available this past Monday and I got mine yesterday(Sat).
Does anybody remember years ago when the fishing at Caumsett was spectacular?
in those days you had to camp out the night before the permits went on sale.
The fishing has not been that good there for years which is why the permit is easier to get...BUT....alot of anglers feel that with this cold winter we will see a surge of Sandeels this spring and in the past it was the sandeel that ignited the fishing at Caumsett. we will have to see.......I for one am hopeful.
