I put the waders on and tried my luck for some trout this morning. I entered the water by the dec. access trail. I waded northward 1st. Through the sunrise hwy tunnel. Nothing over there. Not a tap. I couldn't fish near the falls because the workers are still installing the alewive ladder. I'm thinking , Maybe the noise is to much for the fish. So I decided to wade southward pass montauk hwy. I get half way to the rail road tressle and over there I connect. Caught 3 browns. 12",13" and 14". All fish caught on a Thomas double gold blade spinner with red flash. That lure never fails me. The trout are taking lure's now. Go out and get Guy's. Let the games begin.
