Fishing on the Capt. Bob O tonight 7-1am. How has the fishing been lately on the Captree night trips?

I though Bob-O was 5-9???

Not sure about the night trips, but he did return to port with a nice catch in the am last Saturday.

I believe I was the only one on the boat with a bite. A blue took half me eel. Did anyone catch anything that night? Didn't see any other boats catching either. Luckily my wife got $50 back from the pool being undecided. They drew names from a hat and split it up 3 ways. It wasn't a total bust. Coming home with no fish seems to be happening to often when I fish Captree.

The night bite has been horrible for some time now in Great South Bay. Clam chumming duing the day, and bottomfishing are fair to good at times. The night bite will get better towards the end of the month, as it does every year.

Also, bass fishing is 80% current in that bay. Your trip was the last hour of the ebb, and all of the flood current.
