Hey guys has anyone heard any reports from the captree princess on the blackfish front???. ikno the laura lee has been sailing and scrapping up a few tog but i havent heard much about the captree princess.r they still sailing?

the "fisherman" ad says they are full day blackfishing at 8am -sundays only.

18 hour offshore trips jan 5,12,19,26

sailing for blackfish on saturdays also if offshore trips cancelled.

Before the rough seas sent us home early last Saturday, I managed to land a nice #5-6 tog and a couple of shorts. I saw Rob on Christmas Eve and he told me they might be done for the season. If that is what the website says, then it is probably true, but I'd call to double check about this upcoming weekend.

I WAS ON THE CAPTREE PRINCES TODAY. WE FISHED TO THE WEST. I HAD 4KEEPERS BIGEST SPLIT THE POOLWITH A COD FISH.I'M GUSSING THAT WE HAD ABOUT 40 FISH[KEEPERS] AND 4 KEEPER COD FISH. WEATHER AND SEAS GREAT. IF ANYTHING WE NEEDED MOOR WIND. CAPT ROB AND CREW JAMES &PAT.GREAT MATESGOOD SERVICE RIGHT THERE TO TAKE TANGLES OR RE RIG YOU. GREAT DAY

nice do you know if they are going ot be sailing on sundays weather permitting for the rest of the winter?

At this point in time, all trips are on hold for him due to other commitments. Call him about specific trips- I beleive he will try to put trips together as his schedule allows.

YES, tommorrow @ 8am. Offshore trips are scheduled for Saturdays but interest has been minimal. When those trips are cancelled they are replaced with local trips.

I was out today and the bite was slow until the last drop where we had a decent pick of blacks and cod. It just happenned too late in the trip as the current was screaming in the morning. I wasn't one of the fortunate ones who caught a cod but I did cull 2 blacks. Tommorrow they're fishing an entirely different area where we had some decent trips last winter. Good luck!!

I received a message from Capt. Rob this morning and the boat is sailing at 8am for Blacks, ling, & Cod on both SATURDAY and SUNDAY
