Captain Steven Jr reports a good day after a slow start on todays Local Cod trip. There were only a couple of Cod caught here and there in the morning. We tried both anchoring and drifting but just couldn't find anything to work on. Around mid morning we took a ride to a zone we had not fished on in a while and found a good steady pick of market sized Cod which lasted for the rest of the day. this more than made up for the slow start this morning. The average catch was between 5 and 6 a man by days end and a party of two ended the day with 16 Cod between them!
