wed june 4th sailed a morning charter with the kids from the west end school in Lynbrook. despite the rainy forecast the weather actually turned out great. as the boat backed out of the slip the rain and wind both dropped out. we stayed in the bay and had lots of action with as many as 10 fluke on at once. even with the current regulations a few made their way to the fillet table. all the kids left the boat with huge smiles on their faces

also this weekend in the freeport festival on the nautical mile. come on down to support the local businesses. there will be games for the kids and all the bars and restaurants will be open. we will be sailing a half day bottom fishing trip at 1pm on sunday. be sure to arrive extra early to find parking

capt lou 6 thursday night stripedbass report

Thursday night left the dock with 8 passangers fished the jones inlet area. we had a good pick of bass and blues we boated 15 striped bass 8 were keepers had 10 or so blues, the fishing should get better and better as we come away from this moon. we will be sailing friday for strippedbass.. we still have a few spots open for our extended day shark trips call capt mike at 516 369 1646 for info

FRIDAY NIGHT BASS AND BLUES

CAPT BRIAN "THE RABBIT" RAN THE BOAT AND FISHED THE JONES INLET AREA WITH 8 PEOPLE. THE BITE WAS BETTER THEN THUR NIGHT WITH 28 STRIPED AND 20 BLUEFISH FISH.... WE WILL BE BASS FISHING THE REST OF THIS MONTH THURSDAY NIGHTS... sat full day seabass report great fishing!!!!!!

had a full day trip today. wreck fishing was nothing less then great the pool winner was 4.3lb seabass everyone hade their share of action my mates hate me been back to the dock for an hour and they are still cutting (these guys are fast. we had a good mix of seabas ling blackfish (released), keeper cod and the stray winter flounder... the boat had over 200 keeper seabass plus agood amount of ling and some cod.......fishing has started to improve since the full moon..

great fishing today on the capt lou VI !!! we had good action all day. all the pieces had tons of life on them. the second you locked your reel you had a fish hitting. almost all the fish were jumbos with a few shorts mixed in. could not have asked for a better day.....great people, great food and great fishing!

THE CAPT LOU VI HAD A CHARTER OF KIDS ON THE AM TRIP FISHED THE LONGBEACH AREA, PLENTY OF ACTION ALL MORNING WE PICKED TRU THE SHORTS FOR OUR SHARE OF KEEPERS.

THE AFTERNOON SEABASS TRIP WAS A GOOD STEADY CATCH OF SEABASS LING AND STILL BLACKFISH...STARTING TO SEE PORGY'S MIXED IN. WE WILL BE RUNNING OFFSHORE ON 2 FULL DAY TRIPS THIS WEEK ON THUR AND FRIDAY LEAVING AT 8 AM.......

6/9/08 capt lou vii 8.6 lb fluke

CAPT LOU 7 FISHED BOTH HALF DAY TRIPS TODAY. FISHED THE OCEAN AND HAD A GOOD SHOT OF BIGGER FISH THE POOL WINNER WAS A REGULAR BY THE NAME OF JACK WITH A 8.6 LB FLUKE IN THE AFTERNOON. THE MORNING POOL FISH WAS 5.6LB PLENTY OF KEEPERS CAUGHT TODAY..

THE CAPT LOU VI HAD THE DAY OFF NO TRIPS PLANNED FOR TUE. WITH THE FORCAST TO BE OVER 95 DEG. NONE OF US WANTED TO BE ON LAND SO WE TOOK MY SIX PACK BOAT(SORRY CHARLIE) ON A CREW TRIP FOR SEABASS. FISHING WAS GREATTHE FOUR OF US LIMITED OUT ON SEABASS HADE A DOZEN LING RELEASED 20+ LEGAL BLACKFISH UP TO 11# THE PORGY BITE WAS ON HAD 2 PAILS OF THEM . 1 STRIPED BASS AND A FEW BLUEFISH

HAD THE RVC ELEMENTARY SCHOOL IN THE AM STAYED IN THE BAY. PLENTY OF ACTION A FEW KEEPERS DUE TO THE HEAT WATER IS STARTING TO TURN BROWN

IN THE AFTERNOON RAN OPENBOAT AND FISHED THEIN THE OCEAN. FLUKE FISHING WAS REAL GOOD WITH PLENTY OF ACTION LOTS OF FISH IN THE 19 TO 20 INCH RANGE HAD A GOOD AMOUNT THAT STAYED ALONG WITH CARMINE'S FISH THAT WEIGHED IN AT 6 LBS

capt lou vi thursday report. the crowd was light so we hopped aboard my six pack boat (sorry charlie) and it was off to the wrecks fishing was nothing less than great six people had 95 keeper seabass a bunch of ling, a few porgy mixed in and a pollack. we had over 40 blackfish up to 7 lbs (wich were released) cindy had the pool fish a 4lb seabass. check out the pics it was a great day of fishing. we will be sailing fullday on friday at 8 am and halfday sat and sun.. so bring dad down for a great day on the capt lou vi

fishing was great ran to the south had alot of seabass to 4 lbs plenty of jumbo's we had 6 cod 2 keepers, a bunch of ling and we released blackfish to 5lbs plenty of action plenty of keepers most peoplefilled their bucket and cooler. i ll let the pics talk''''''

the capt lou 7 ran by capt scott clark has been fluke fishing south of our inlet friday trip has saw a the pool winner around 4.5 kb fluke with 23 keepers for the day great action with a good amount of keepers..............

fishing is red hot. the porgy's are open and are here sea bass action was real good with most making their way into buckets. we had a 1o year old angler land a 26lb monkfish. the fishing was action packed the guys with the know how caught very well and the green horns caught their share. check our website at captloufleet for up coming seabass 20 mile trips and blues also wed sharkfishing trip
