wed june 4th sailed a morning charter with the kids from the west end school in Lynbrook. despite the rainy forecast the weather actually turned out great. as the boat backed out of the slip the rain and wind both dropped out. we stayed in the bay and had lots of action with as many as 10 fluke on at once. even with the current regulations a few made their way to the fillet table. all the kids left the boat with huge smiles on their faces
also this weekend in the freeport festival on the nautical mile. come on down to support the local businesses. there will be games for the kids and all the bars and restaurants will be open. we will be sailing a half day bottom fishing trip at 1pm on sunday. be sure to arrive extra early to find parking
