UPDATED MONDAY APRIL 1ST 2019. Captain Anthony Gillespie reports All trips now sail at 12:30 am day of trip and return 11pm the night of trip. Fishing will begin around 830am and end somewhere around 4pm to to 5pm. The reason for this is better fishing in the late morning to afternoon hours and more daylight to work with. FISHING REPORT: March 30th trip, we picked some Golden tiles throughout the day. The best drift was at the end of the day but I wouldnt rate this trip anywhere near good. Tough drifting conditions with a very slow drift hampered the catch. Dogfish were a problem in certain areas. Some fares came close to their limit of 8 but others had a very tough time catching some.. see all dates and times below. SPECIAL 48 HOUR DEEP DROP CANYON TILEFISH TRIP. MAY 18TH Departs 12:30am Saturday May 18th returns Sunday May 19th between 9pm and 10pm. $495 per person. ALL DATES BELOW. ***23 HOUR TILEFISH DATES**: $295 per person. 25 person limit. All trips leave at 12:30 am and return between around 11pm on date shown below. APRIL 6th 23 hr leaves 12:30 am April 6th. Returns around 11pm April 6th. 5 spots available. APRIL 13th 23 hr leaves 12:30 am April 13th returns around 11pm April 13th May 4th 23 hr leaves 12:30 am May 4th returns around 11pm May 4th MAY 17TH 48 Hr Trip. $495 pp 25 person limit. 1230am SAIL Saturday May 18th RETURNS 10 PM SUNDAY MAY 19TH 48 HOUR SUPER TILE TRIP. WE may fish for hake and pollack at night and or go to another canyon depending on the catch from the first day. No guarantee on Night fishing for Pollack and Hake. Day 1)Tile fishing will begin on the 48hr trip around 8:30am and end around 6pm on the first day. During the night hours we may ride to another canyon or fish for pollack and hake at night.
