I'm thinking of booking a canyon trip out of Point Pleasant Beach, NJ leaving Thursday and coming back Friday afternoon. Is the canyon alive yet? Any feed back is appreciated.

Canyons Alive?

Ahh, not 'stupid crazy' alive. There were a dozen boats from my marina out since last Wednesday. Some had a dozen, some more...many less & mostly small(ish) YFT. A few Blue & White Marlins either raised, hooked or fought to the boat...Considering the price of fuel & the size of fish, if you're totally liquid, go. If not & it's your one trip for the year...
