The past two weeks I have been fishing on the Celtic Quest out of Mount Sinai Harbor and have not had a bad trip yet. Today I had a dozen to 9 lbs. Another boat I like is the Pilot from Sheaphead Bay allthough they are still fishing mixed bag. I have been fishing with them since 1978. Larry

I highly recommend the James Joseph out of Huntington. Have been fishing with them for a while and it is always a great day out. Have caught a 9.5 and 10.5 pound fish already this year with fishing only getting better.

My opinion Joe,

Talking about party boats, charter boats, and B&T shops on this forum is a bit tricky. I realize they provide the revenue that keeps this site going(and I love this site) and I'm sure the owners don't want to offend any of their advertisers. So without saying anything bad about the three boats your considering my choice would be in this order:

#1- Celtic Quest
#2- Capt James
#3- Noli Eileen

By the way I have fished on all three boats.

Good Luck,
Larry

Tog Boat

Thanks to all of you for you replies. This is an incredible site! I've heard great things about all three of these boats and I'm sure you can't go wrong with any one of them. Hopefully, I'll be able to post a good report come Sunday.

The Ocean Eagle in Sheepshead Bay is a great boat during the week(less crowds).Greg and his brothers know their blackfish and really try to put you on fish. There are some real sharpies on this boat and it could be a little humbling, but pay attention to what they do and try to learn.Good luck.
