My dishwasher has broken free of its moorings............

When it was installed 3 years or so ago - the installer used some sort of "putty" or chalking to secure it to the underside of the countertop granite. This evening after loading the dishes following a great blackfish in herbed butter meal here
The "putty/chalking" let go.

What do I use to resecure it?

try to mount it to the side cabinets. Most newer dishwashers when purchased come with "L" brackets to mount it either to the top or to the sides. You can mount your own "L" brackets some where close to the top and mount it to the sides.

I've installed about 500+/- (I'm not kidding or BSing...I did appliance installations for a living. And I was good at it!) dishwashers and I'm not sure why that guy tried "cementing" it to your countetop
Unless its Corian or Marble?
Even still I've never glued/stuck one to a countertop ever!
As HC said there are brackets that can be put on to mount it to the cabinets.

Latty is a shell of his former self these days.
That Superbowl win by the NY Giants took the wind out of his sails.

I think he likes the Red Sox also...
He will be suicidal by playoff time

They aint making it :)

You can screw it to the cabinets through the sides. This is how mine is installed as lond as the screws are outside the seal it is fine. This is how mine was supposed to be installed so maybe yours is different. If so get some brackets.

I just hate doing dishes.
I load it until I can't fit more in it and then run it

Then instead of going to the cupboard for your glass, you are bending over looking in the other cupboard. The one mainstream america tricked you into buying. lmfao

definately check the legs...raise them evenly until the d/w is as secure as it can be with the door still operationable,,then tighten any l brackets to the side cabinets if you have the brackets..if you had a wood or compressed board dounter top you could have screwed roght into it,but with stone counters you can not....once the legs are tight and d/w secured you might be able to screw a small wood strip or stop blocke in front of or/and behind the legs to stop the d/w from vibrating free from its desired location

We bore two holes under the counter top edge. Then we epoxy two nuts in the holes. Now the DW can be serviced easily yet still be secured to the counter top. It's the same method as securing an undermount sink.
