Love The Boat ??????

As far as I'm concerned, Tim T is the best. I love that boat. Check out the BC web page.

Maybe Love The Captain but the boat is another thing LOL

VERY VERY Talented guy. The boat when crowded is extremely uncomfortable. I fished the boat on a Marathon and it was great with a limited crowd but then I fished the boat on a regular day trip and I could not wait to get off.

As a former deckhand of the BC, it can be tough with crowds, but they drift on days the big boats can't because of the low profile to the water. I've been fishing/working for Timmy since the late 80's and Tim and Ian(the primary captain)work hard to get you on the fish and keep everyone tangle-free.

good operation, I've had many many great trips with Tim/Ian/Kenton etc....but bring your sense of humor and you'll have a great day, especially if it's nasty out...

Booked for Sept/Oct/November trips
Bring on the wind and the hake

FOOL ME ONCE - BUT NEVER AGAIN

To put 30 people on that boat is ??????????????

Actually I paid in advance and booked 2 trips - NEVER went back for the 2nd day

I learned my lesson but 30 people on that boat is absurd.

30 people can be somewhat tight, but its not that bad if you can cast or reset alot to stay out of the tangles. And I worked on the boat for a few seasons, along with many others and the BC outfished them all. If you want the comfort of a galley and all that stuff then the B.C probally isn't for you, but catching wise, 30 people or 6 people, it's tops. It was definatley harder to be a deckhand than an angler, as I have done both for twenty something years. Absurd?? Not even close.

The last time I went on the BC was about 7 years ago for a four hour trip. I think I was even tide or high hook with the only other guy on the boat fishing with his own rod and I think we had 10 cod a peace with most keepers all on jigs. It was nut to but and all the rest dunked bait. Captain Tim was great and so was the mate who I left a hefty tip with as the other fares gave him nothing. I have always wanted to go back on a limited load as they have a rep of catching some nice hake. Definately in if someone wants to put a trip together for trophy hake.

Last Fall I fished on several marathons in Sept/October, when we fished the deep water spots over 400' we usually caught some nice redfish. One spot in particular I think I caught 7 or 8 real nice ones....but I don't think Tim makes drops to target them speficically, but man they are good eats..right behind haddock, for me anyway.
