I know the calendar is saying spring but I?m thinking summer nights. I have a question concerning mosquito repellents. I heard mention of a repellent called Ultrathon that was developed by scientists to protect U.S. Troops against mosquitoes and ticks and the diseases they may carry, such as West Nile virus and Lyme disease. Supposedly this product was tested in the jungles of the Amazon. It has a patented 3M Controlled-Release Technology (that evaporates slower so that lower levels last longer); a single application of this repellent repels bugs longer by providing continuous protection for up to 8 hours. It is also splash and sweat resistant. Has anyone ever used this product if not what repellent works for you?

I use SSS but that seems to be less effective as of late. Maybe the bugs are getting use to it? ;)

Jaiem, Skin So Soft? You must have alergic bugs. Bugs by me eat Deep Woods for desert. I heard of some kind of pill, maybe not approved yet or on the market? That killer bug juice that works better can't be any good for our health either? They'll still find any spot you missed. This year instead of numb lips from juice I'm looking at a pith helmet with a headnet? Safari anyone? Prospector

The Ultrathon Repellent is very very good stuff. It works great and you don't have to smell like the roach motel(Deet)while your fishing. I was turned on to this stuff by some friends that like to fish areas that have a large mosquito population like WE2.
