Somebody made a deal. Romney gets out of the race and gets to be the veep for one or the other. McCain is too liberal to win alone, and huckabee needs money. Hmnnnnnnnnn

I smell some kind of a deal. We will see.

Hey - it's possible.

He can see the Republican base linning up behind McCain because he's the front runner & appears to be winning the popular vote.
They don't like McCain but figure they have no choice but to support him if they want to block a Democrat from gaining the Whitehouse.

Romney drops out - declares himself an Independent - but a Conservative Independent.
The Conservative Base in the Party now has someone they can vote for & support.

But that would guarantee a democrat in the white house unless there is another independent in the race that leans hard to the left.

There goes the last conservative. I think AZ is right. Mitt's not a spoiler.

What did you guys expect? McCain and Huckleberry tag teamed him after they made their back room delegate deal on Tues. All because Mitt got a little negative towards McCain in debates. Got some thin skin there, eh Johnny?
You nailed that one Tim!!!

Well, at this pint there's not much to get excited about or crazed by. What shall be in the White House shall be. Will we be better with a liberal Republican doing things we don't want with the rest of the GOP going along out of Party loyalty or a Democrat doing things we don't want with the Republicans at least able to stand in opposition? Would you prefer to be shot or stabbed?
