Black attracts Blackfish, Blue attracts bluefish !

Everybodys a wise ass, right.
Just kidding with you of course.
I bet it makes NO DIFFERENCE EEEEEspecially when trolling.
Ive heard that some people have painted on or applied little fishy stickers on thier bottoms { boats bottoms} when chunking or drifting.
But I think thats pretty inane also..

It really doesn't make a difference.
Alan,I seen the same article a few years back in the "Edge".They stensiled schools of squid under the hull and claimed it helped raise fish.Anything is possible,I bet they laughed at the first wooden lure when the guy said it would catch fish.

paint

I don't know about raising fish but the rule is the darker the paint the better its antifowling property. The best is as follows Black, Red, Blue, Green>
If the paint is on good you should consider the Micron system of paint it will prevent any futher buildups of dead paint on your bottom.
Good luck with it

The chum in the paint is very clever. I hope that I remember when the season starts. But to answer the question- it's Micron because it won't build up. Years ago I took the paint off a 27' sail boat. Very bad, very dirty, hard job. On my present boat, a power boat, I use Micron. It goes over any paint that you have on now. On the first application, we put on a green coat and then two black coats. When you see the green, you need to do it again. I think that because you never have to sand or scrap it, it's CHEAPER than the other paint @120 quid a gallon. The boat takes a little more than a gallon. And go the black color. That's my 2 cents.
