Has anyone made a mold from bondo for jigs/lures??

The question I have is how do you make a diamond jig mold?? Also where would I pure the lead if I made it out of bondo?? How are diamond jigs poured into standard molds??

i have made them from not bondo but alum epoxy filler dont remember the name of it but worked ok trick was not to over heat the lead .they lasted o few pours .i drilled sprues to pour the lead in .had to re drill them a few times till they worked at first they were too small and the lead set up and plugged the mold .after a few casts were made the mold warped and got soft time to throw out. do it makes dimond jig molds and ya can fimd them on e bay too but for the most part jigs are cheep enough i buy them now .

do it has them to 6 oz only, I'm looking for 8oz. I am having trouble understanding where to pour lead into the mold from the top or the sides??

drill two holes into the sides and than when they are still warm clip the sprue off and drip it into the pot again .

Use floor leveling compound. It is available at hardware stores and you will get a whole bag for little. It comes in a powder and you mix it with water.
