I too have just sealed a deal on a great 2001 leftover (angler) w/ a johnson 2001 115hp. Not one person I have spoken to has said a bad thing about it. Bombadier definetly covers the 2001 models and I think the 2000 models, although I am not positive about the later. This is what the company told me on the phone (Bombadier). Doing additional research at the NY Boat Show I found out that one has 11 months to pick up the extended warranty. Month 1-6 would cost approx $470.00, month 7-11 it goes up but not that much. >= to (greater than or equal to) 11 months = no chance of purchasing extended coverage. Just go for it!!
