MANASQUAN, N.J. -- A body found by a fishing boat crew this weekend has been identified as one of four people missing since they went on a shark-fishing trip earlier this month.
Bob Wright, 46, of Island Park, N.Y., was found Saturday about 30 miles off the cost of Manasquan. An autopsy was performed Sunday night, but the results were not immediately available.
Wright and three other men — Robert Hamman Sr., 61, and Robert Hamman Jr., 39, both of Valley Stream and Peter Quinn, 35, of Island Park— were reported missing June 15. They had taken part in the Freeport Hudson Anglers Shark Tournament that day and authorities were notified when their 25-foot yacht, the Eleni II, failed to return to port.
The other three men remain missing and are presumed dead.
