Hello All,

I am considering having the boat pulled and dropped in my yard at the end of this year providing I can get enough info on the process.

Does anyone have a trusted company they deal with who can pull the boat, drop it on a trailer, bring it to my house and block it solidly for the winter??

What does something like this cost?? Do they go by LOA/Beam or mileage travelled??

Apologies for the barrage of questions.

I appreciate anyone's input :):):)

Thank you in advance,
Paul

Cost will depend on the size of the boat, both loa and beam. It also is based on mileage. Power washing the bottom is extra. Some will also pass on ramp fees to you.

When I used to use a hauler, I would get pulled out on the SS and bet hauled and blocked on the NS. The last I had paid was $190. That was for a 28'. Power washing was extra. I used South shore Marine Transport.

Hi Lattitude,

Do you have any contact information for the company you mentioned?? I can't find anything for them online. Is it safe to assume they were bonded/insured??

Thank you once again for your reply!!!

Surf, When I got home I checked the fridge where I keep their info, and I need to back track. the hauler I used was All-Island Marine Transport, not Southshore. I did use Southshore one year but my regular transporter was All-Island. I must have had a jr moment. Anyhow, their number is 631 589-3030. Donna answers the phones. They have several trucks so getting a time slot you want is pretty good. And yes they are insured.
