This 25-degree weather stinks!

I have been planing my spring fishing trips for months now. I even brought my bike down to the bike shop to have the rear derailer adjusted.

But for now, I have no intention to ride my bike in 25-degree weather OR chop through Ice to fish.

I'll just settle for the boat show in the nice warm Nassau Coliseum on February 7-9 and 14-17 to hold me over. Buy some electronics and spend all winter reading the manual.

Anybody else going?

BEEN THERE-DONE THAT! Will hit the sportsmans show first, the weekend after this! Don't need anymore tackle, but will buy some stuff anyway just to make me feel better!

I need some ideas on how to layout the bathroom, and some hardware odds & ends. I guess if you look for the largest guy in the building, you will have found me (6'7", 275), LOL.

Well, so much for the boat show.....the cops shot a bank robber on the Belt Parkway, and they told everybody to turn around and go home.

I thought the show was pretty bad, it seems to get worse with each passing year. The Javits Show was good and I heard the Atlantic City Show was too.

BoatGuy, there were not many of the side booths that sell all other things except boats, there were a couple of electronic companys, but they were spread pretty thin, and no great displays from what I remember. Try consumers, I think they have pretty good pricing. I would bet they were at the Atlantic City Boat Show, you could check, if they were you could tell them you saw them there and they would probably extend the special show pricing.

Hmmmm...the show sounds like a dud, MAKOMATT. I was 50/50 about whether to go this weekend, or go to the fishing expo. I think I'll go look at the fishing stuff in Freeport instead........and pick up a load of chowder clams at Capt. Bens!

Unfortunately, right now it is difficult to grow the show with the limitations of the building. We are trying to create a better atmosphere with more booths that fit the needs of the boater. The Freeport Boat Show in April will also be changing as well as Tobay. Look for more booths and better quality.
