Boat Ramps in Brooklyn/Jamaica Bay?

This year I'd like to make a trip to New York harbor but don't think I'd like to start from Jones Inlet with my 17' BW Montauk. I can't seem to find any public boat ramps listed for Brooklyn or Jamaica Bay. Does anyone know of one, or has anyone made the trip (from Jones) in such a small boat?

limited space for trailers
on weekends
easy trip on a nice day
hug the shore coney isl to seagate around nortons and there you are

this ramp has been gated off and is off limits. has been like this for a while now.

i launch at inwood park, its a nassau county park.

I don't know of any public ramps in Jbay, but you can try some marinas. They might let you launch for a fee.

hey turbanator,i haven't had a problem in 2 years launching there you just need a nassau permit.

BHM IS RIGHT THE RAMP NEXT TO THE HIGH SCHOOL IS CLOSED OFF. THE STORY I HEARD WAS SOMEONE WAS TRYING TO LAUNCH A DOWNEAST AND IT WAS A BIG CLUSTERF....DID DAMAGE TO THE RAMP, SO BET. THAT AND THE JET SKI GUYS LAUNCHING AND JUST HANGING OUT AT THE FOOT OF THE RAMP..THAT RAMP FOR NOW IS OFF LIMITS...TOOO BAD ...IT WAS A GREAT PLACE TO LAUNCH MY 17' SKIFF
