I am looking for a way to lift my boats out of the water, I dont think I have the depth for a "hydro-hoist".

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated, pricing company info anything.

Thanks
Matt

The boat is 1900 pounds

Matty, is this a one thime deal or do you want to lift it every day?

You could build a cradle and drive it on at high tide and wait six hours..... or

Build the cradle with 55 gal poly drums hooked to a air manifol and pressureize them with a compresser to raise the whole rig like out of the water.

or build a dry dock and drive it in and pump the water out. Yea that would naturally be the cheapest way out.

How may tons is your vessel?

There is a guy who keeps his boat at Ralphs Fishing Station in Mt.Sinai harbor who has a lift that fits in his slip and lifts his boat out of the water when he is not using it. Boat is about 25 ft. You might call over to Ralphs and see if they can tell you more.

Rig a fore & Aft Cradle strap between the two docks wieghted down in the middle so it sinks and connected to two hand winchs. Then just crank it up out of the water. Take two people singing old slave songs to syncopate the ordeal so the boat does not slide off. Cadance Dude.

When in the water it only wieghs 1/3rd of 1,900Lbs
so it should be easy enough to lift with two 1,000 lb winchs.
That should cost about $100 bucks at Wal Mart. and make your insurance brokers smile.
