Al,
I just asked this question in the boating section, but since you're something of a computer geek, I figured I'd ask you too. Do you know of any reasonably priced flat screen displays that would be suitable for use on my boat? I figure to be sunlight viewable they would have to be at least 1,000 - 1,500 nits. So that rules out all the regular computer displays. I'd like to mount a screen at the helm station and drive from my laptop, which would sit down below.

Thanks for the tips. I don't know if either of their screens accept VGA input, but I'm going to find out. Rosen has a couple that might work out very well, if they don't cost an arm and a leg.

Mako...if you see a Rosen screen you're interested in let me know. I sorta deal with them and might be able to get a better price on em. Just drop me an email and I'll see if I can do anything.
