One of my co-workers told me it was on channel 12 news, but I haven't seen anything on it yet.

The boat was a cabo, The captain was pre- fishing for the hudson Anglers tournament.
The boat sunk at the Liberty Wreck. The boat sank in less than five minutes.On the boat had all his fishing gear on the boat even his International reels. The captain called in for a mada to the coast guard , and they put the life raft in the water. There was only two people on the boat, and no one got hurt, thank god.

Anyone know the name of the boat and did they leave from jones or Fire island inlet I was out today fishing the inlet but I didnt have my vhf on saw a nice cabo heading out the inlet around 9 am

Name of the boat was "Canyon Bound", a 45 Cabo.

I am not sure I can't remember the boats name it was definetly a cabo and close to that size just admired the look, would like to hear what happened that cabo was a 2005 hardly what you would call an old boat

Same thing happened last year on a brand new Cabo.
Prob coincidence but I'd be hesitant to buy a Cabo now.
