I think I remeber seeing an add for a boat building course on Long Island a while ago. They had a course where you would buy a kit, and then put together this kit on weekends.

I know this is waaaaay in advance. But I want to learn and was thinking about signing up for a course over the coming fall/winter after the fishing season closes.

I have a nasty habit of planning very far in advance, but I also want to research and save as much as I can should I find a course so that I can do it.
