Has anybody been seeing blue sharks on the south New England shelf? We're hoping to tag female blues next week, byut I haven't been able to find them since mid-July in the areas I frequent south of Martha's Vineyard. I hear there are some north of Stelewaggen and on up though Maine waters, but if anybody's seen them south of the Vineyard-Block-Montauk stretch we'd much appreciate it.

P.S. We'll be tagging female blues with satellite popups for the Guy Harvey foundation.

We got about 20 the other day with Leaky in a "super secret" Blueshark spot!

I've been averaging 1-2 blues a day off nantucket and mv. pretty slow, have heard of boat being swarmed on recently, think there all running in small pockets of water all together, but hard to get to the boat...saw a bunch finning around this weekend, but wouldnt come into the slick....there all futher north and east.....

We had a few in the south east corner of the hudson the other night. One was a huge female easily over 300lbs

There are some really big bluedogs up here now...Gulf of Maine..
