Does anyone know how to tell the sex of blackfish.and also how do you tell the age of a blackfish.
im courious after seing the 19.6oz fish on the cover.

A easy way to differentiate the sex of a blackfish is to look at the forehead protion of the fish. Males have a noticeable blunt forehead and jaw area, and usually whiteish/gray coloring. Females have a more sloped head and usually a brownish coloring. Just go back to some of the pics we posted on jumbo blackfish and you should see the difference.

How old was Bobby Rinnis fish? I guess it was born around the time of the Eisenhower administration. Who knows how many wrecks that fish saw in its lifetime.
