I went fishing on the Big Jamaica on Saturday, April 27th. Went out for the elusive Giant Sea Bass. Ended up with alot of Dog Fish an Ling. My final tally for the day was 12 Ling and 8 large Dog Fish. I tried jigging, but it was wearing me out and it wasn't producing any results. There were about 5 Pollack caught and at least 4 Sea Bass for the entire boat, but the main catch was Dog Fish and Ling. Serves me right for fishing on the full moon. I guess the Sea Bass have moved inshore. The Captain tried his best but, none of the wrecks he located were really producing a positive catch of fish. But, at least I won't have to take a 18 hour trip to target Sea Bass anymore. I take my hat off to Captain Howard Bogan and his crew. They did a fine job as always.
