I wasn't planning on fishing Sunday morning but I woke up at 5 and couldn't go back to sleep so I decided to soak some chunks for a few hours. I fished in close around the rocks. On my first drop I picked up a short and a 35 inch bass. I tried one more spot and nothing happened for a while so I decided to switch over to fluke. Just as I was done making strips with my remaining bunker I got one **** of a run. It was almost impossible to put the brakes on this fish. Finally after an exhausting battle I got it to the boat... All 49 inches of it. After that I made a couple drifts and picked up one 21.5 inch fluke. Lots of life in western LIS. Tight lines!
