Be care full of what you open up in the u tube site.I just had a virus infect my PC two days ago.Its an adware/malware telling you you have a virus and offering to correct it (TrojanDownloader:Win32/renos.Y)its very hard to remove if you get it.I have antivirus installed & fire wall but it got past them.Windows live one care was able to quarantie it but not remove it

I had two similar viruses a few weeks ago, both came up as high risk on a hard drive virus scan. But I couldn't get any info on the Web on them, and both of mine were also quarantined by my virus scan. Not sure where I got them, but YouTube is a possibility.

I had a very similar virus earlier this week. When I clicked on a video, I was asked to install an "ActiveX" control, which many websites use, including Nor'East for the chat room. Once I did that, I had all sorts of alerts go off and pop-ups advertising phony virus protection and alerts about having a trojan.zlob virus.

I ran AVG Anti-Spyware, Spybot Search & Destroy, and my Symantec Antivirus and it couldn't eliminate it. Togmaster recommended and sent me the link for Malwarebytes. I was able to install and run the program and it quarantined and deleted 75 threats. Including the trojan virus that was causing my problems. It was not a Zlob virus.

Anyway, that program worked great and I'd recommend it to all of you.

You Tube probaly shut down due to the Virus They are probaly doing some clean up work trying to get rid of the bug
