From last some time I am using cheap rapala fillet knives . But the problem with these knives are that they don't hold an edge worth a crap. Can someone suggest me some better brands of fillet knife i can look into that will hold it's edge for more and a few fish???

Havalon knives ain't bad for that, but in the end you gotta sharpen your knives pretty often since you would want a flex blade for fillet and it just doesn't hold edge that well due to using flex materials

Best fillet knife I have had is the Dexter Russel with the wooden handle. Very high carbon steel so they must be oiled to prevent rust. I use a Work Sharp to sharpen it and you can literally shave off your hair with it. Also
i use a serrated knife to cut through scales and tail cut. I have one knife I have had for 50 yrs and that is the one I always use!
