hey guys when fishing for porgies,fluke,sea bass,stripers,blues on party boats where is the best place to fish stern,bow, sides,.....etc beacuse tommorow im fishing on the capt al and just want to know the best spot to fish tell me what you think thanks

CORRECT!!!... get [email protected] 5 am, put your rods in the stern holders and go back out to your car for a nap.. either a nap or what I did a few weeks back... Put the rods in the holders, and went down to the inlet for a bit of pre boarding fishing. If you show up @ 7 am. forget about the stern ..... bob

Agreed. The stern is the perfered place if the boat is anchoring (assuming normal wind/tide conditions let the boat lay as it should).

For drifting, a lot of guys like right up front in the bow. That way which ever side the lines go you won't go under the boat (assuming people on both sides of the boat - for some types fishing they only line up passengers on one side to avoid under the boat tangles).

Best place on a party boat

Where the people arent and the fish are.
Bottom fishing Capt.s put the meat of the customers on the meat of the wreck. However most good fisherman prefer the comfort of the stern and so it looks like the stern catches more fish. Tourists and novices get to the boat late and get the worst spots.
However drifting u want the bow.
