I'd like to throw out this question: Which is your favorite hook for each species? Here are mine:

TOG -- 2/0, 3/0 Gama or Mustad Octopus and Gama 2/0 or 3/0 Baitsaver with shank barbs pushed down.

SEABASS -- 3/0, 4/0 Gama or Mustad Octopus and 3/0 Sproat.

CODFISH -- 5/0, 6/0 Gama or Mustad Octopus and 5/0 Sproat.

FLUKE -- 4/0 Gama or Mustad Octopus and 4/0 O'Shaunassy (Stainless).

PORGIE -- 1/0 or #1 Mustad Octopus.

FLOUNDER -- #3 O'Shaunassy (Stainless).

Weakfish -- 3/0 or 4/0 Gama or Mustad Octopus.

WEAKFISH:3/0-6/0 Octopus style hook
ALBACORE/BONITA:94150&94151 short shanks
TUNA:CHUNK-2004/2005 EAGLE CLAWS circles
BAIT-#116/118 MAG EAGLE CLAWS

This is just my rough' list of what i would choose....but with the thousands of hooks in my house, i use many different styles and brands.
