I'll be going out sunday to the FI inlet area for stripers and I was wondering what you guys thought would be the best method for this time of year? I had good success a few weeks ago chumming w/ bellies and fishing whole clams, but I was wondering if I might be better off now drifting eels or trolling bunker spoons? Any advice is appreciated.

Thanks,
Rob A.

Rob,

A friend of mine fished this week around the lighthouse area and like you he used bellies, chum and anchored up. His technique involved the use of drails as oppose to conventional sinkers. He did very well, give it a shot and good luck.
