"I'd like for you to turn off the camera, and i'd appreciate it". haha that was so nice they caught that guy in 6 lies at once. Thats why if you're going for an oil change and they try and tell you that you need all this stuff dont let them do it. Its all over priced nonsense anyway. This doesn't really shock me all that much to be honest.

JIFFY LUBE

BEEN THERE----DONE THAT !!!!

Went to Jiffy Lube in St. James for an oil change before heading upstate hunting. Paid $26.00+ for their 26 point check and oil change--------what I got was No vacuum job, no washing windows, the same bird sh*t was on them before and after, no other services or checks done, the oil filter was not changed, so I only got 4 qts. of oil and my tire pressure was still low (one of the 26? point checks) for $26.00-----that comes to $6.50 per quart of oil.
Not only that when I was there the guy behind the counter (manager?) got a call from a previous customer from that day that had no oil or oil drain plug in the car and he had to send a tow truck to pick the car up.
No wonder that they have been advertiseing so muck lately----they want to get all their old customers back for a second round of sex !!!

And they give it to you dry the second time too. No lube.

Now I mark my tires BEFORE a tire rotation, mark the oil filter and look at the color of the oil after the supposed oil change and **** well check that the oil drain plug is in! Been using PEP BOYS lately and am very happy with them!

Hip

P.S. It is a **** shame we have to do these checks-------maybe JIFFY LUBE is owned by MUSLIMS.

We had a laborer at work, he did a favor for his girl and changed the oil for her, his first time. drains the oil and goes to put the new oil in but its full so he figures its ok and she drives away with a dry auto tranny. she blew it, it cost her like 3000$. duh

FWIW, over all I've been satisfied with Jiffy Lube service. Yea, they do try to get you to buy other services. Sometimes I do it, sometimes I don't.

Then again, I don't just sit in the waiting area. I always watch what they are doing.

By the way, does anyone know where I can find instructions to spay my cat?

It's easy, I did mine ( actually assisted). The important thing is to tie their paws down because if they wake up in the middle of the operation they are really pi**ed !
