I used to get shiners at Hansen's on 9W in Tompkins Cove.
I think Bear Mt. only has Hessian Lake in it's boarders, so I assume you mean Harriman State Park. I like Kanauwaukee. Really helps to have a boat/kayak (must get permit at Tioratti Circle office.)
