Bass Migration

Okay, so we have had a cold winter which will delay any migration north of the Chesapeake stripers. But I have been recalling that after very cold winters we often have unusually warm summers. So this means the temparature change will be more rapid. Does this mean we will have a shorter spring striper run? Will they be more plentiful during this period? Any thoughts appreciated.
