Can somebody recomend a good bay rod/reel, pls keep price in mind, although i would love a vs i cant spend 600 on a reel

I was gonna say a 150 with a 9 ft seeker 1 piece inshore rod .Thats my back bay setup .Until i pick up my ZB . I would go with the same rod with either a Quantum Cabo 40 or a Boca 40 .In my onion the Boca is great and less cash .Sealed drag and you can beat the crap out of it .

600 for a VS your looking in the wrong places ! I just picked a used 150S for 250 !Unregistered Never serviced 1 little ding .

I have an 8ft StarRod that I have a Cabo 30PTS on and it is awesome for the back bays. Does double duty for me on the boat as well.

The stick ran around $100 and the Cabo was $189. You can substitute the Quantum Boca which is just under the Cabo and runs around $130 I believe. Smooth as silk these reels are!!!!

For a reel you can't go wrong Diawa SS 2600. I have these reels in all sizes and love them. I think they go for $89. and well worth it
