Porpoise Channel or Stony Brook Harbor, just looking to find some new parts of the area to fish. I usually fish around the jettys in the channel and really want to work some of the grass lines back there this spring. Do I need a parking permit for those spots?

Hey Matt whats going on !! Easy spot with out to much travel is to fish rite behind Stony Brook Boat Works on a ebb. Get a jig rite up against the pilings. When I use to fish there I was able to give all the fish there own names. They stay there all season hiding under the docks. You wont have any problems if you dont go on the docks. Also take the road besides mill pond an expore. I dont remember st names but take that road and theres plenty side streets that go to the back bay . Before I got my boat I use to fish all around there. Also try fishing Flax this year in May theres some big fish there also on the fly in side.

Hey captbush, how ya doing. I've been looking at that spot behind boat works for a while but wasn't sure if I'd be trespassing. Have you ever tried the creek behind west meadow, I haven't had much success back there but it looks like it could be a pretty productive area for schoolies. Flax is one of my favorite spots, the hike in is just a pain in my ass, you don't know of access from the east side do you?
