…There are some nice bass and pickerel as well as some crappies. You can wade anyplace on the west side of in lake. It's not too deep but there is a lot of mud and trash on the bottom. Most people cast from the shore. I have a small canoe. The end of April and beginning of May seem to be most productive. .

Just a reminder that during April and May… The Largemouth and Pickerel season is closed. Also… Caution: Wading from on the Western portion of the pond is very dangerous. The mud is incredibly soft and if you take two steps forward… expect to be sucked down to your waist (I should know because yours truly experienced the mishaps). However, the North side of the lake (parking area) is fishy and wadeable.

Also - If you are planning to fish the North side of the parking zone... Make sure you fish it early (first light) before the boaters! You will find that most of the fish will be within the 50 - 75ft. next to the drop-off and by the hydrelian weeds.

Good fishing!
