Any ideas on what to do with the boat? Is it better to leave it in the water or take it out to a mooring? What a welcome to the "sunshine state"!

Leave it in the water if you put it on land makes it easier for the wind to pick it up off the trailer or blocks

Tough call.......

Personally, I think I'd haul it and bring it home.

I'd rather take my chances where at least I know it wont sink or have the potential to sink or break from it's slip or mooring.

Bring it home and lash it down. Pu some water in the bilge for extra weight to hold it down. Make sure its secure to the trailer. Securing the boat or trailer to a tree wouldn't hurt.

Leaving it on a mooring exposes it to all kinds of hazards from drifting and flying debris as well as other boats that break loose.
