I'd like to buy a large amount of Peruvian spearing for next summer , are there any local dealers in the Freeport area ? I bought a pack of Peruvians for $8. The bag had about 40 spearing.
I love the Peruvians, their just the ticket for big fluke.

I hate to use spearing because the **** flukey takes the spearing and won't come back for squid or what not....if the guy next to me has spearing I throw em overboard when he takes a whizz and blame the seagulls...stop spoilng the flukes...they don't "need" roast beef!

I don't know what your talking about... I have never had an issue where they will only take the spearing anot come back for the rest. I always use fluke belly so no matter what there is always something on the hook....

as far as purchasing whole sale, you need to become friendly with you local shop to see if they will do it for you....minding that they will need to make some profit on it.

Huntington station wholesaler

There is a decent sized wholesaler in huntington station. don't remember the name of it, but he is the major supplier of bait on L.I.---a friend of mine usta work there when I was getting flats of bloods for free. If u take 110 north, past rt25 going into hunt station,(turns into new york ave. over jericho) about 1 mile down new york ave, u will see a closed up Dairy Barn on the southwest corner and one of those cheap dollar store places on the northwest corner ( I think it may be 9th street )....take a left and drive all the way down into the dead end and you will see the place on the left. Don't know if he sells to the general public but give us an update after u check it out......
