hi guys
maybe i'm just dreaming but i'm thinking
about buying a new boat.this aquasport
appeals to me because it has a cuddy that seems to be foward which allows
for more fishing room along the gunnels
of the boat.does any reader run this boat ? does it pound when wide open?
how fast is it wide open with a 225 hp
or twin 150's.i'll be in the sound so some times you can really open them up
and run from one harbor to the next.also does anybody know of any used aquasports
in this size that are available?
thanks

thanks david but my heart is set on the
25 explorer only because of the lenght of the gunnels from the back of the cabin to the stern.mk5381 i will probably never take the boat out of the long island sound .during the summer months on li the prevailing wind is from the south which usually only gives the
sound ripples to a slight chop.on the days when the wind is northerly i'll throttle back.i have 3 grown sons and when we bottom fish for taugot or drift for fluke those long gunnels look very attractive.i expect to add a 250
yamaha to the stern and in a calm sea i would expect a top speed of 40-50mph.
right now i have a chris craft lancer it's a great fishing boat just a little slow, maybe a top speed 28-32 mph,i like to travel around when the weather is good and i hope ths aquasport is the boat that i can do it in
