25' Aquasport

I have an '88 25 foot Aquasport Sportfisherman with a '99 200 hp Merc. It has a cuddy cabin. It is a really good bay boat and sometimes ocean boat for most conditions. It is hard on the 3-4' ocean chop. You can't pound through them. You need to power down and take them easy. I never really open it wide but I usually cruise at around 22-23 knots which is around 4200 rpms. Most times I have either my family (summer only), fish by myself or have 1 or 2 people. There is ample fishing room for 4 comfortably. Anything more can get crowded no matter what type of fishing. All in it is a good boat with moderate storage. The upfront cabin is nice but I hardly use it (only to store more stuff). The cabin ****pit is a little tight. I wouldn't mind a 10' beam instead of 8' but what the heck. I like it and I do a lot of fishing by myself. Including a lot of wreck fishing. The boat is good in a following sea and a slight chop. A beautiful ride on a slow roll or slow following sea.
