Ugly Stick
Go with 20# mono. 30# is to heavy and your rod is only rated for 25#. Check your knots if they keep breaking. If your line was fraying alot on your other rod check the tip to make sure it's not scored. I only use my (11')Ugly Stick as a bait rod. Otherwise all my surf rods are custom.
