Way back when I used to work at Jacob Riis Park, I used to fish close to the bridge that leads from rockaway to brooklyn, both sides, along with the beaches of Jacob Riis when I saw blitz of blues, and the inlet of jamacia bay was always good, which was the furthest tip of rockaway, if you go any day you'll see many ppl wading in the waters fishing surf, some even flyfishing trying to catch anything from blues, stripers, and weaks. Hope that helps, tight lines.

Not sure of the streets

But I had some good days last year at the Jetty's that are across from Silver Point in Atlantic beach(Nassau County). I think it's around 169th street. Check a south west map of the Nassau|Queens area and you will see the area I'm talking about. It's a rough area so don't leave anything of value visible in your car.

Just beware of the possibility of a ticket. My friend fished the jetty (maybe it was 169th) a couple of seasons ago and got ticketed for being there (LOL). You can try Riis Park and I know my brother has caught bass and keeper fluke there.

good spots

try the beaches between b. 2nd where you can get under the bridge to beagh 44th st. look down the beaches to check the water conditions at beach 9th there is a public parking lot with a few jetties in the inlet. the water gets really deep really fast and the currents movr fast. be carefull at night times around b 22 to 44 area the natives are not the nicest people and your car might not be there when you get off the beach. b5,6,7,8 streets have coldersack deadend streets where you can fish out the back of your car practically you can always go over the ab bridge and fish the ocean front and you can find parking now the summer is over good luck

Take a drive down Beach Channel Dr. There are some spots along there that you can fish the bay from. You are going to have to do some home work to fins spots. Look at Google Earth to get an idea of an area and then take a drive there.

it has been many years but we used to fish some jetties in the 80s on the ocean side. this time of year the kingfish bite was crazy. i would fish from 6 pm until the sun went behind the buildings then the bite would stop. worm for bait.

welcome to NOreast young Jason. while I'm not aware of any hot spots on the Queens shoreline, you should know many on this fine site don't believe in dispensing location tips. so far, the responders have been behaving, but you'll probably get a snide comment about 'spot burning' pretty soon.

Fishable Rock Rock Rockaway Beach . . .

Watch out for some areas off the boardwalk in the B30s or B40s ?? They are Piping Plover nesting areas and I think you will get hassled... look for the signs.

Hot spots? I think it turns on and off through the whole way depending on where the birds and bait go.

I don't know what you're looking for or how you get around but the A train goes to B 116 and along the B streets. I guess looking for some structure if you got baits and weight would be good too.
People fish from some piers on the Bay side of Breezy point and also the Breezy Point Jetty too. You need permits to drive in there but you can do it on a mountain bicycle if you want to try it.

Try between the old dive shop to the mouth of the inlet where the beach starts to turn out. There is a nice hole where the sand turns that usually holds fish on an outgoing.I have always caught a fish there.
Did I say too much?
