The only encouraging reports I've heard on the flounder front have been from Moriches and Lake Montauk. Lake Montauk always seems to get a good fall run and Moriches seems to be getting better as the waters cool down.
I was thinking of renting a skiff from Uihlen's and trying Lake Montauk. I don't want to waste a lot of time looking for spots. Can anyone point me in the right direction on productive spots in the Lake. Thanks in advance.
