Nothing yet in the Riverhead area.
I havent seen any bait fish either.
I talked to an old timer and he said there catching weakfish and Bass at
Indian Island park and also the Bunker are in.
Sounds good but wont be waisting my time there this year.
There is a lot of bait in the back bay areas of the North Shore. LNB,Oyster BAy,and Northport all have good numbers of bass. I managed to take some quality fish from Northport on pencils. Soon we wil have ebb tides at dusk-which are the tide I prefer for these areas at this time of year. The fishing has been decent-GEt OUT THERE!! For more click on my banner and go to reports.--

I WADE 50%, THROW BAIT 20% AND FISH OFF BUDDIES BOATS THE REMAINING 30%,THERE IS PLENTY OF ACTION TO GO AROUND .THIS TIME OF THE YEAR IS VERY WEIRD BUT ALWAYS PRODUCTIVE, BE PATCIENT , STAY WET.
I had a decent trip to Caumsett last Saturday and posted results. I'll be back there ( or maybe the Niss?) this weekend. Bottom of the Ebb is the time to be there. Saw lots of bass "finning" (my new fishing term).
